As a psychiatrist, I believe that anyone who wants to live a healthier, happier, richer life should focus first and foremost on deepening their self-awareness. The more we discover who we really are, the less unnecessary drama, suffering and dead ends. And this does not necessarily require a specialist book, a self-awareness group or therapy. Art can do this: it confronts, cleanses, transcends - if we let it. These short stories can do that too. The author's psychological and spiritual background, her life experience and her talent as a writer are the guarantee."
