"I really liked Égszínkék! Some of the stories I would have read further...waiting for the sequel, but I know that brevity is one of the characteristics of short stories. And the ending always made me think. I don't usually read short stories, novels are more my thing  , but this one really got me. It's readable, interesting, attention-grabbing. It was fun to read again, it brightened up my days. Last but not least, the cover is beautiful! I can and will recommend it to everyone. I look forward to the author's next book. "

This was the case with Edina Kiss' book Égszínkék, which became very authentic for me through the personal experiences and the accurate elaboration of the characters and events, which made the stories thought-provoking. The author did all this without locking the reader into the narrow confines of the plot, because the stories also left room for the possibility of relating one's own experiences, and their broad perspective. "I love the way this book overwhelms my senses. The feel of the blue shimmering cover, the whiteness of the book itself under the cover, the smell, the sound of turning the pages. It's great to hold in your hand.
One of my favourite short stories is called 'Az új otthon': encouraging title, extra brevity, bittersweet, loving punchline at the end.
I was also absorbed by the short story "Tangó", reading it just sitting in the living room, tears falling.
I recommend this book to everyone. Re-readable.
